In the Osh Region, 665 foreign nationals were fined for breaching immigration laws

Officers from the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, in conjunction with the internal affairs authorities, carried out ‘Illegal’ raids across the Osh Region, aimed at identifying breaches of immigration legislation and preventing the illegal employment of foreign nationals.

During the operations, the security service and law enforcement agencies focused primarily on carrying out awareness-raising and preventative measures, during which foreign nationals were informed about the rules governing their stay in the Kyrgyz Republic and the need to observe public order.

As a result of the raids carried out throughout August 2026, 665 foreign nationals were fined.
