Projects worth 401.2 million KGS have been approved in the Osh Region

A new investment package has been approved in the Osh Region and the city of Osh as part of the ‘Regional Economic Development’ project. The total value of the approved initiatives amounts to 401.2 million KGS.

The decision was taken on 28 April at the 18th meeting of the Productive Partnership Committee, chaired by M.I. Duishayev, Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry.

The package comprises:

  • eight projects from existing partnerships — worth 290.8 million KGS;
  • six new sub-projects — worth 110.3 million KGS.

All initiatives will receive additional investment support under the programme, which was updated by a Cabinet of Ministers decree at the end of 2025.

In effect, this involves expanding funding for regional business initiatives, with the focus on cooperation between participants and the growth of the local economy.
