During a tax raid, employees of the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan discovered illegal tobacco products in the Aravan district of the Osh region.

In particular, 492 packs of tobacco products under the Oris brand worth a total of 21,630 KGS were seized in the Chek-Abad and Dobo-Korgon ayil okmotu. The products did not have excise stamps or the relevant accompanying documents.

Initial procedural documents were drawn up on the spot in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the materials were handed over to law enforcement agencies for legal assessment.

We remind you that the sale of up to 1,000 cigarettes without excise stamps is punishable by a fine of 65,000 KGS, and for more than 1,000 cigarettes, the punishment is imprisonment for up to 5 years.

The State Tax Service urges entrepreneurs to strictly comply with the requirements of the law, prevent the sale of tobacco products without excise stamps, and carefully check the authenticity of the markings on the products.
