A number of agreements were signed during the visit of the President of Tajikistan to Kyrgyzstan

A ceremony of signing bilateral agreements was held in Bishkek as part of the official visit of the President of Tajikistan. The negotiations resulted in agreements in the spheres of trade, economy, agriculture, industry, customs control, youth policy, culture, construction, finance and security.

The sides exchanged a number of important documents:

  • In the field of trade and exports, a memorandum of co-operation was signed.
  • The veterinary services of the two countries agreed on co-operation.
  • Customs authorities concluded a protocol on exchange of preliminary information on goods and vehicles in transit.
  • Interregional cooperation programmes for 2025-2030 covering trade and economic, scientific, technical and cultural spheres were signed.
  • State bodies responsible for sports and youth policy approved plans of joint activities for 2025-2027.
  • A memorandum on co-operation in the field of industry and new technologies was concluded.
  • An agreement was reached on financial supervision and combating the financing of terrorism.
  • The Ministries of Agriculture of the two countries signed a co-operation agreement.
  • Agreements on access to water and energy facilities, as well as on the construction and operation of motorways were formalised.
  • A state border agreement and a joint statement were signed.

These agreements are aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and developing strategic partnership between the countries.
