03/30/2026, 15:10The overall spring plowing plan for the country has been completed by 15.7%. It is worth noting that this figure exceeds last year’s figures for the same period by 39,900 hectares.
Among the regions, the Batken region shows the highest figures, with 36.5% of the plan completed. In the Chui region, 25.8% of the planned area has been plowed, while in the Osh region, 24.2% of the plan has been completed. In the Jalal-Abad region, 11% of the plan has been completed; in the Issyk-Kul region, 1.5%; in the Talas region, 0.3%; and in the Naryn region, plowing has not yet begun.
The national plan for sowing spring grain crops is 519,300 hectares, of which 115,600 hectares have been sown so far. Specifically, wheat has been sown on an area of 34,600 hectares, which amounts to 34.9% of the plan. Barley sowing is 32.6% complete. Corn sowing has not yet begun in the republic.
