Inspections of schools and kindergartens in the capital continue to ensure readiness for the school year

A commission led by Bishkek Deputy Mayor Viktoria Mozgacheva continues to monitor the progress of preparations at educational, sports, and cultural institutions for the start of the 2025–2026 academic year.

Today, the commission visited facilities in the Leninsky district. Schools No. 55, No. 72, No. 80, No. 84, kindergarten No. 141, as well as a number of sports and cultural institutions, including the Ak Ilbirs Children's and Youth Sports School, a tennis school, a children's art school, and a library at Secondary School No. 77, were inspected.

Most of the facilities are undergoing active work on major and routine repairs, landscaping, and preparation of engineering networks. All work is nearing completion.

Issues related to the rational use of territories are considered separately. In one of the schools, the use of the adjacent school grounds by residents of the private sector has been recorded — appropriate measures will be taken in this regard. Attention was also drawn to the need to put in order the street toilet, which should only be used as a backup facility.

Some technical issues have been identified in preschool facilities, but these do not affect the preparation process and will be promptly resolved.

The possibility of constructing a new educational building on the grounds of School No. 55 is also being considered—this issue is currently under review.

As for sports infrastructure, renovation work on facilities is expected to begin in the coming days, and the design of a new sports and recreation complex (FOK) based at the Ak Ilbirs sports school, which will combine sports and administrative functions, is continuing.

Preparations for the school year are continuing as planned. All identified issues are being monitored and will be resolved as soon as possible.
