The agreement provides for the direct recognition of documents on academic titles awarded in the Union states in order to ensure that their holders have access to professional scientific activities in other EAEU states.
‘The agreement will create additional incentives for the employment of scientists in EAEU countries, promoting scientific cooperation and the exchange of experience. I am confident that this instrument will attract talented specialists and stimulate the development of innovation in our countries,’ said Bakhyt Sultanov, Minister of Economy and Financial Policy of the EEC.
In May 2024, an agreement on the mutual recognition of academic degrees in EAEU countries came into force.
