08/01/2025, 16:38The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry conducted comparative monitoring of food prices (bread products, potatoes, vegetables, fruits, meat, milk, sugar, eggs, vegetable oil) in the country, as well as in Russia and Kazakhstan.
The monitoring revealed the following changes.
In Kyrgyzstan, the price of grade 1 wheat flour (domestic) fell by 0.6% (35.1 soms), bread made from grade 1 wheat flour fell by 0.5% (64.7 soms), bakery products by 0.5% (96 som), vegetable oil by 0.5% (150.6 som), pasteurised milk by 0.4% (73.8 som), and mutton by 0.3% (663 som).
Price decreases were observed for: carrots – by 3% (–2 som), potatoes – by 2.4% (–1 som), onions – by 1.5% (–0.6 som), pasta (vermicelli) – by 0.2% (–0.2 som).
In Kazakhstan, prices increased for: beef – by 1.8%, bakery products – by 0.6%, mutton – by 0.3%. Price decreases were recorded for: eggs – by 0.5%.
In Russia, price increases were recorded for: butter – by 0.1%. Price decreases were recorded for: potatoes – 3.8%, carrots – 3.7%, onions – 1.2%, eggs – 0.7%, granulated sugar – 0.3%, pasta (vermicelli) – 0.1%.
