In the Talas Region, a bakery providing 90 jobs has entered the production expansion phase

In the Talas Region, work is continuing on a project to produce bread, pastries and flour-based confectionery, which is included in the state list of ‘100 Industrial Enterprises – 2026’.

During a working visit, Rustam Baltabaev, Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, visited Adis Nan LLP in the village of Kyzyl-Zhyldyz, Manas District. A meeting was held at the company’s premises, attended by representatives of the regional administration, local authorities, government bodies and financial institutions.

The project is set to create 90 jobs. The company has already provided employment for around 20 people. Construction work at the site has been completed and three production workshops have been commissioned.

According to the company, the plant’s production capacity is up to 2.5 tonnes of flour processing per day. The products are sold in the Manas District and other districts of the Talas Region.

The main focus of the meeting was on issues relating to the project’s continued funding and bringing production up to full capacity. Rustam Baltabaev instructed the relevant government bodies and financial institutions to speed up support for the project.

The ministry notes that the development of processing enterprises in the regions is one of the state’s priority tasks. It is expected that such projects will contribute to the creation of new jobs and the achievement of the target to increase the level of agricultural product processing in Kyrgyzstan to 50 per cent by 2040.
