According to the agreement, the price per kilogram of “Ak Lopatka” beans will be at least 135 soms, and for “Tomaten” beans, at least 100 soms.
A schedule for bean purchases from November 1 through 7 has also been published. Purchases will take place daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a volume of 1 metric ton in each of the following districts:
November 1 — Bakai-Ata;
November 2 — Aitmatov District;
November 3 — Aitmatov District;
November 4 — Talas District;
November 5 — Talas District;
November 6 — Manas District;
November 7 — Bakai-Ata.
Thus, according to the schedule, up to 7 metric tons of beans are planned to be accepted over the course of the week.
The initiative aims to ensure stable market access for the harvest and to develop domestic agricultural processing. Farmers are advised not to rush to sell their beans at below-market prices, given the plant’s commitment to purchase the produce for seven years.
