Foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan’s small and medium-sized businesses reached $8.6 billion

Foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan’s small and medium-sized businesses totaled $8.66 billion at the end of 2025. This is 9.2% more than in 2024, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Exports totaled $1.3 billion, up 9.1% year-over-year. Imports reached $7.36 billion, a 4.3% increase from the previous year.

Imports by Kyrgyzstan’s small and medium-sized enterprises significantly exceeded exports. The difference between the two amounted to $6.05 billion, compared to $5.54 billion in 2024.

Small and medium-sized enterprises accounted for 51.9% of the country’s total foreign trade turnover, including 43.2% of exports and 53.8% of imports.
