Five documents were signed at the OTG summit in Ankara

On October 30, the 13th Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) took place in Ankara, attended by Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov. Following the meeting, the leaders of the participating countries signed five multilateral documents, including the summit declaration and decisions on appointments to the organization’s leadership.

Specifically, the following were signed:

• Declaration of the 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States;
• a resolution awarding Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov the “Highest Order of the Turkic World”;
• a resolution on the appointment of the Secretary General of the OTS;
• a resolution on the appointment of the organization’s Deputy Secretaries General;
• a resolution on the appointment of the President of the Turkic Academy.

Thus, following the summit, the parties adopted documents concerning the organization’s future activities and its leadership structures.
