A new building will be constructed in Tokmok on the site of a hospital built 86 years ago

During a working visit to the Chui region, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services Nurdan Oruntaev, together with Tokmok Mayor Altynbek Ergeshov, inspected the progress of work on a number of construction projects in the city.

During the trip, the minister inspected the old hospital building located at 27 Dunlarova Street. A new modern building will be constructed on the site of the outdated building. Currently, the project has been prepared and work has begun on dismantling the hospital, which was built in 1939.

The infectious diseases ward will cover an area of 892.4 square metres, and the admissions ward will cover 160 square metres.

The work is being carried out by the state-owned enterprise Kyrgyzkurulush, which is subordinate to the ministry. According to the project, the new hospital will consist of two blocks, where all the necessary modern conditions for doctors and patients will be created.

The current hospital building is 86 years old, and the infectious diseases hospital and tuberculosis dispensary buildings were built in 1965.
