Kyrgyzstan's gross domestic product grew by 9% in January

According to preliminary estimates, Kyrgyzstan's gross domestic product in January 2026 amounted to 125.7 billion KGS. These figures were presented at a monthly press conference by the National Statistical Committee of the Republic.

Compared to January last year, GDP increased by 9%.

Economic growth was driven by the expansion of commodity production and services, as well as an increase in taxes on products.

"The service sector made the main contribution to GDP, accounting for 52.3% of the economy. Industry accounted for 24.9%, agriculture for 4%, and construction for 1.8%," the National Statistics Committee explained.

Thus, the country's economy continues to grow mainly due to the service sector, while industry continues to play a significant role.
