07/28/2026, 10:18False information has appeared on social media claiming that, following the launch of Apple Pay in Kyrgyzstan, Visa will allegedly charge a 2 per cent commission on every transaction made using the service.
According to Visa representatives, the company does not charge cardholders any additional fees for payments made using Apple Pay or any other digital wallet.
Any fees that may apply to a cardholder’s account are set solely by the card-issuing bank in accordance with the terms and conditions of the cardholder’s card agreement.
