12/10/2025, 11:04The Jalal-Abad Region Prosecutor's Office has uncovered illegal land grants in the Bazar-Korgon District.
The investigation established that officials from the district state administration, the Akman aiyl okmotu, the local aiyl kenesh, as well as employees of architectural and registration authorities included land plots in the Aigyr-Zhal master plan that had not undergone the mandatory transformation.
As a result, in 2019-2022, irrigated agricultural land with a total area of 7.18 hectares was illegally distributed to 117 citizens for individual housing construction. The value of the agricultural land is estimated at 67.9 million KGS.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 337 of the Criminal Code, “Abuse of official authority.” Investigative actions are being carried out.
