01/08/2026, 17:46At the ‘Consolidated Post’ located near the ‘Ak-Tilik’ checkpoint on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh section of the state border, violations of quarantine phytosanitary requirements were detected when 44.2 tonnes of potatoes from Russia were imported into the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
The violations were detected by the Department of Plant Protection and Quarantine during quarantine phytosanitary control measures.
In accordance with paragraph 3.7 of the provisions on the procedure for carrying out phytosanitary quarantine control (supervision) in the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union, approved by a decision of the Customs Union Commission, due to the absence of a phytosanitary certificate for a consignment of quarantine products with a high phytosanitary risk, the cargo was returned to the sender.
