Per capita GDP in Kyrgyzstan could rise to $5,300 by 2029

Per capita GDP in Kyrgyzstan could increase from $4,079.2 in 2027 to $5,304.2 in 2029. This forecast is contained in the draft national budget.

Over three years, the figure is expected to rise by approximately $1,225.

Per capita GDP growth will occur against a backdrop of an expansion in the overall size of the economy. Kyrgyzstan’s nominal GDP is forecast to reach 2,736.3 billion KGS in 2027, 3,240.8 billion KGS in 2028 and 3,720.7 billion KGS in 2029.

Real GDP growth is expected to stand at 8.3 per cent in 2027, 10.4 per cent in 2028 and 7.4 per cent in 2029.

Services will continue to account for the largest share of the economy. Their share is forecast to stand at 50.9 per cent of GDP in 2027, 50.1 per cent in 2028 and 50.3 per cent in 2029.

At the same time, the share of manufacturing and construction will increase. The share of manufacturing may rise from 16.3 per cent in 2027 to 16.5 per cent in 2029, whilst that of construction may rise from 10.8 per cent to 11.9 per cent.
