The goal is to create a climate-resilient production chain and increase the income of agricultural producers.
What will the project deliver?
• High-quality seedlings and greenhouses with drip irrigation
• Water tanks and warehouses to reduce crop losses
• Organic compost production
• Training for farmers in sustainable agriculture and cooperative management
Special attention will be given to the development of women's cooperatives and self-help groups to increase productivity and incomes in mountainous areas.
The project is being implemented with technical support from JICA and is in line with national priorities for improving food security and agricultural sustainability.
Japanese Ambassador Ryuichi Hirano emphasized that the initiative aims to create jobs and strengthen economic stability in rural areas.
