08/11/2026, 16:08Between January and July 2026, Kyrgyzstan exported 746.7 tonnes of fish products. This represents approximately 87 per cent of the total exports for the whole of 2025, when 857.6 tonnes of fish and fish products were shipped abroad.
Russia and Kazakhstan remain the main export destinations.
There are currently nine companies in Kyrgyzstan engaged in the export of fish products. Shipments are carried out in compliance with the established veterinary, sanitary and phytosanitary requirements.
The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and the Processing Industry notes that work is continuing to develop the fisheries sector, increase production volumes, supply the domestic market and expand export opportunities.
