Over the course of the day, the price of an ounce of gold in Kyrgyzstan rose by 5,400 KGS

The price of a one-troy-ounce gold bar rose by 5,436.5 KGS over the course of the day. These figures have been released by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the regulator, on 6 August, a bar weighing 31.1035 grams was selling for 375,555.5 KGS. By 7 August, the price had risen to 380,992 KGS. This represented an increase of 1.45 per cent.

The buy-back price rose over the course of the day from 370,005.5 KGS to 375,362 KGS — an increase of 5,356.5 KGS, or approximately 1.45 per cent.

Consequently, the difference between the selling price and the buy-back price per ounce as at 7 August stands at 5,630 KGS.
