10/20/2025, 10:44The State Tax Service has summarised the results of its internal control for the first nine months of the year. During this period, the tax authorities received 181 complaints from citizens, companies and law enforcement agencies.
Of these, 64 were filed by taxpayers themselves and 38 by law enforcement agencies.
As of 1 October, 162 complaints had been reviewed, with another 19 still under review. The facts were confirmed in 67 cases, partially confirmed in 5 cases, and not confirmed in the remaining cases.
As a result of the reviews, 126 employees were subject to disciplinary action. Of these:
Three complaints also contained information about possible corruption — one of them has already been forwarded to the State Committee for National Security.
During the same period, the service imposed sanctions on 136 taxpayers for non-payment of taxes, conducting business without registration, illegal rental of housing, and other violations. Another 15 entrepreneurs received warnings, and three were given explanatory briefings.
