10,000 trees to be planted in Bishkek

Today, October 18, a large-scale tree planting campaign began in Bishkek, implemented as a result of the decisions of the Eco Council-2025.

As part of the campaign, 10,000 trees are planned to be planted, with special attention paid to school grounds.

The seedlings are between 2 and 5 meters tall. For convenience in keeping track of the trees, seedlings in each district are tied with different colored ribbons to indicate the administrative affiliation of the territory.

A tree planting campaign dedicated to the 60th anniversary of UNDP was also held in the Ak-Orgo residential area.

Sixty trees of various species — birch, rowan, and red-leaved maple — were planted in the park in Ak-Orgo.
