In the first nine months of 2025, 229,200 jobs were created in Kyrgyzstan

In Kyrgyzstan, 229,200 jobs were created in nine months. This indicates continued growth in employment and expansion of the labor market. This was stated by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev at a plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh.

According to him, the positive dynamics in the labor market are stable. Thus, in 2024, 263,100 jobs were created in the republic, and the figures for 2025 are already approaching last year's level.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers recalled that in 2025, the updated Labor Code came into force, aimed at balancing the interests of employees and employers. The document establishes remote and mixed employment formats, as well as provides quotas for people with disabilities and graduates of orphanages.

"At the same time, social protection for the population is being strengthened. Over two years, the salaries of certain categories of budgetary workers, doctors, and mid-level medical personnel have been increased. The average monthly salary for 10 months was 42,919 KGS. This is 19.2% more than in the same period last year. Pensions have also been increased, with the minimum amount reaching 7,500 KGS and the average pension amounting to 11,254 KGS," said Adylbek Kasymaliyev.
