02/06/2026, 16:52First Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Security, and Migration Kamchybek Dosmatov reported on the positive results of the implementation of state programs in 2025 at a meeting of the ministry.
According to him, the situation on the labor market remained stable: the official unemployment rate was 1.4%, which is significantly lower than in previous years (2021 — 2.9%, 2022 — 2.8%, 2023 — 2.9%, 2024 — 1.8%). There were 56,500 unemployed people registered with employment services, which is 20% less than on the same date in 2024 (70,600), with 38,100 people officially registered as unemployed (22% less than in 2024).
The number of employed persons was 17,500, and the number of participants in active programs was 19,800.
Particular attention was paid to the “Internship for Youth” project, aimed at improving the professional skills and employment of young specialists. As part of the project (2024-2025), monthly salaries were provided to internship participants in 30 pilot districts and cities, covering 3,000 young people.
In 2025, 1,851 people completed the internship, of whom 1,332 young professionals were employed. Today, they work in various professions in public and private organizations: cashiers, specialists, social worker assistants, nurses, credit specialists, engineers, economists, HR specialists, massage therapists, hairdressers, auto electricians, and design assistants.
