08/10/2026, 13:37Previously, following a decision by President Sadyr Zhaparov, two types of tax — the single tax and the sales tax — were retained in the local budget of the city of Osh.
As a result, the city’s coffers received 160 million KGS in additional revenue this month. According to the city’s mayor, Zhanarbek Akayev, these funds are being channelled towards improving the city’s infrastructure.
The mayor called on business owners to reduce the shadow economy, conduct business legally and pay their taxes on time.
