    Over 100 Complaints Filed Against Tax Employees in First Half of 2025

    In the first half of 2025, the Central Office of the State Tax Service received 109 appeals from citizens, organizations and law enforcement agencies about the actions or inaction of tax officials. This is reported by the press service of the State Tax Service.

    Of these, 28 complaints were received from taxpayers, another 30 - from law enforcement agencies, including the SCNS, Interior Ministry, Prosecutor's Office and ROVD. As of July 1, 92 appeals have been considered, 17 - are under study.

    In 43 cases the facts of violations were fully confirmed, in 4 - partially confirmed, in 45 - not confirmed. As a result of inspections 14 official investigations were appointed, 12 of which have already been completed.

    As a result, 74 employees of tax authorities were brought to disciplinary responsibility. Of these, 32 were reprimanded, 26 were reprimanded, 9 were severely reprimanded, 5 were dismissed, 2 were demoted.

    Three complaints contained signs of corruption offenses. Two of them were not confirmed, one of them was transferred to the SCNS.

    Also on appeals to territorial bodies 4 more employees were reprimanded. Measures were taken against taxpayers themselves: 16 were fined, 15 were warned, and three were explained.

    STS continues to consider appeals and encourages citizens to report violations.
