08/20/2026, 13:40Between January and May 2026, soap worth nearly 783 million KGS was imported into Kyrgyzstan. This is according to data from the Statistical Committee.
Over the five-month period, more than 5,000 tonnes of soap were imported into the country.
The soap was imported from around 40 countries. The largest volumes came from Russia – 1,196.1 tonnes, China – 1,125.9 tonnes, Kazakhstan – 650.2 tonnes, Turkey – 507.3 tonnes, South Korea – 477.7 tonnes, Uzbekistan – 406.5 tonnes, Iran – 255.1 tonnes and the United Arab Emirates – 191.1 tonnes.
By way of comparison, around 4,800 tonnes of soap were imported into Kyrgyzstan over the same five-month period last year.
