Soap worth nearly 783 million KGS was imported into Kyrgyzstan over five months

Between January and May 2026, soap worth nearly 783 million KGS was imported into Kyrgyzstan. This is according to data from the Statistical Committee.

Over the five-month period, more than 5,000 tonnes of soap were imported into the country.
The soap was imported from around 40 countries. The largest volumes came from Russia – 1,196.1 tonnes, China – 1,125.9 tonnes, Kazakhstan – 650.2 tonnes, Turkey – 507.3 tonnes, South Korea – 477.7 tonnes, Uzbekistan – 406.5 tonnes, Iran – 255.1 tonnes and the United Arab Emirates – 191.1 tonnes.

By way of comparison, around 4,800 tonnes of soap were imported into Kyrgyzstan over the same five-month period last year.
