Issues related to the employment of Kyrgyz citizens in Japan were discussed in Bishkek

Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov held a meeting with a delegation of business leaders from Japan led by Shinji Tarutoko, Chairman of the Kyrgyz-Japanese Cooperation Association.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation, including education, healthcare, labour migration and digital technologies.

Edil Baysalov expressed his gratitude to the Japanese side for supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening Kyrgyz-Japanese relations and made special mention of the contribution made by Michinori Etsuhashi, Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in Japan.

He expressed hope that the joint work of the parties would lead to the creation of a Kyrgyz-Japanese diagnostic centre for the study and treatment of cancer, which would be an important step in the development of medical science and practice in the country.

In addition, issues related to the employment of Kyrgyz citizens in Japan were discussed.

In turn, the Japanese side expressed its readiness to further strengthen cooperation, noting the prospects for partnership not only in education and healthcare, but also in the development of sports, in particular football.

At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that the Kyrgyz Republic is open to new initiatives and formats of cooperation, expressing confidence that the visit of the Japanese delegation will give additional impetus to the development of a comprehensive partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Japan.
