Deputy Governor of the National Bank meets with the Director of the IMF’s Department for the Middle East and Central Asia

A delegation from the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan discussed the latest economic trends in the country with Jihad Azur, Director of the International Monetary Fund’s Department for the Middle East and Central Asia.

The meeting took place on 12 October in Bangkok, where the annual meetings of the IMF and the World Bank Group are being held from 12 to 18 October.

The parties discussed the National Bank’s measures to curb inflation and maintain Kyrgyzstan’s financial stability against a backdrop of high uncertainty in the global economy. The delegation was led by Azat Kozubekov, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank.
