07/28/2025, 15:13According to the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic, as of July 1, 2025, the number of registered unemployed persons was 45,500, which is 21.9% less than in the same period last year. The level of registered unemployment in the total labor force of the country decreased to 1.6%.
The total number of citizens registered with public employment services and looking for work was 65,400, a decrease of 19.7% year-on-year. Women account for 45.5% of the total number of registered unemployed.
A decrease in the number of unemployed has been recorded in all regions of the country. The highest number of unemployed is registered in the Osh (12,300 people) and Jalal-Abad (11,100 people) regions. The Ministry of Labor continues to implement measures aimed at supporting employment and creating new jobs, despite continuing regional disparities.
