07/26/2025, 13:40Major overhaul of the Ala-Buka-Jany-Bazar-Kirkor highway continues along the 0 to 100 km segment. The first phase of construction has been completed, with 51 km of the lower asphalt layer and 47 km of the upper layer laid.
Work on the remaining sections involves base preparation, installation of drainage pipes, and embankment reinforcement. The construction employs two asphalt plants, 90 specialized units of equipment, and a workforce of 180 personnel.
Initiated in 2023 and financed from the national budget, the project involves building a two-lane, category III road with a load capacity of 11.5 tonnes, connecting Ala-Buka and Chatkal.
