Zaparov and Putin held a telephone conversation

The presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Russia held a telephone conversation today. Sadyr Zaparov and Vladimir Putin discussed bilateral relations and current international issues.

The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Zhaparov, held a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. During the conversation, the parties touched upon key issues of Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation and exchanged views on the current international agenda.

The leaders paid particular attention to the development of bilateral relations. They confirmed their mutual readiness to further strengthen cooperation in the spirit of alliance and strategic partnership, emphasising the high level of political dialogue between the two countries.

Prospects for cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were also discussed. The parties noted the importance of maintaining and expanding the agreements already reached.
