Zaparov has allocated 30 million soms to border guard personnel

President Sadyr Zaparov has allocated 30 million soms to support military personnel. He announced this on 12 October at the opening of the refurbished military complex of Military Unit 2024 in Osh.

The Head of State instructed that the funds be distributed fully and fairly amongst service personnel in accordance with established procedures.

The complex houses the headquarters of the State Border Service for the Osh region. Following the refurbishment, the President inspected the sports hall, the dormitory, the museum of border service history and other facilities.

Zaparov also noted the strengthening of the state border through engineering and technical measures, including the installation of special wire barriers along the Kyrgyz-Tajik section.
