A resident of Leylek has been fined and ordered to pay 84,000 KGS for encroaching on pasture land

In the Leylek district, a man damaged 600 square metres of pasture land in order to build a fenced-in yard. In addition to the fine, he must pay compensation amounting to 84,200 KGS.

The Batken Regional Office of the Land and Water Supervision Service uncovered the illegal use of pasture land by a resident of the town of Razzakov in the Leylek district.

According to the agency, the man, without permission, disturbed the soil cover of a 600-square-metre plot whilst planning to build a fenced-in yard.

An administrative offence report was drawn up against the man for the violation, and he was fined 5,500 KGS.

In addition, experts estimated the damage caused to the pasture land at 84,200 KGS. Measures provided for by law are currently being taken to recover this amount.
