Architectural documentation can now be processed online in Bishkek

The Bishkek Main Directorate for Urban Planning and Architecture is continuing the digitalisation of public services. A number of procedures can now be completed entirely online — without visiting the ‘Single Window’. This was announced by the Ministry of Construction.

The online service allows users to submit applications for a façade certificate, an architectural and technical report, a permit to install advertising structures, and for the development of a preliminary design.

According to the department, users can submit an application via their personal account, upload the necessary documents and send the application electronically. Once the application has been reviewed, notification of the outcome is provided online, and payment for the service is also made remotely. The final document is available for download in the user’s personal account.

The department notes that the switch to electronic services speeds up the process of obtaining documents, increases the transparency of procedures and reduces the need for face-to-face contact when submitting applications.
