In 2022, Asyl Tokon Kyzy received 100,000 KGS in state support and invested the money in the development of a confectionery production facility. She subsequently took out an interest-free loan of 200,000 KGS and expanded her production capacity.
Today, the company is showing stable financial results. Its monthly income is 60,000–100,000 KGS, and it employs five people. Products are sold through local retail outlets.
Damira Turdalieva also received start-up funding of 100,000 KGS and opened a confectionery business.
She subsequently scaled up the project by launching the Manta Center and, in 2025, the Yntymak summer recreation and ecotourism complex. As part of the project, she created eight jobs, including for people with disabilities. The total monthly income reaches 100,000 KGS.
Minister Sabirov noted that these cases illustrate the effectiveness of the Social Contract mechanism in terms of the transition from social security to sustainable employment and entrepreneurship.
"The stories of Asyl and Damira demonstrate the program's potential for job creation and increasing economic activity at the local level. The ministry will continue to support such initiatives as part of its regional sustainable development policy," he stressed.
During the visit, an initiative was also announced to provide additional support from local authorities to further scale up successful projects.
