05/14/2025, 14:08At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputies considered the candidacies of Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva for the post of Minister of Education and Bakhtiyar Orozov for the post of Head of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation.
After discussion, parliament unanimously approved the appointment of both candidates to these positions.
Earlier, President Sadyr Zhaparov signed a decree on the establishment of two separate ministries, which will be created on the basis of the Ministry of Education and Science and the State Agency for Intellectual Property and Innovation.
Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva previously held the post of Minister of Education, while Bakhtiar Orozov, prior to his appointment, held various positions in the government and presidential administration, including Deputy Minister of Justice.
