Gold in Kyrgyzstan: the price per ounce rose by more than 5,000 KGS per day

On June 13, the price of one troy ounce of gold bullion (31.1035 g) in Kyrgyzstan rose sharply.

According to the National Bank, the selling price of an ounce was 303,619 KGS, which is 5,477 KGS more than the previous day (298,142 KGS). The buyback price also rose to 299,132 KGS.

The daily increase was almost 1.8% and was the most noticeable among all types of bullion. For comparison, the price of a 100-gram bar rose by 17,867.5 KGS, and a 10-gram bar rose by 1,741.5 KGS.

An ounce is traditionally considered the main indicator of gold market dynamics. The price increase is explained by a general rise in global prices amid expectations of a Fed rate cut and growing demand for safe-haven assets.
