07/21/2026, 17:10In Kyrgyzstan, school leavers who achieved the best results in the 2026 National Assessment (ORT) were awarded ‘gold certificates’.
The ceremony took place today, 21 July. On behalf of President Sadyr Zhaparov, the certificates were presented by the Prime Minister, Adylbek Kasymaliev.
This year, 54 graduates were awarded the ‘Golden Certificate’, whilst a further 20 graduates from across the country’s regions were recognised for their high results in the ORT.
The main advantage of the ‘gold certificate’ is the opportunity to enrol at higher education institutions in Kyrgyzstan to study on a state education grant. In other words, graduates who have received such a certificate are given priority for free tuition at the country’s universities.
During the ceremony, Adylbek Kasymaliev read out a message of congratulations from the Head of State, noting that the graduates’ high results were the outcome of their own preparation, the support of their parents and the hard work of their teachers.
According to government representatives, the holders of the ‘gold certificate’ represent the country’s intellectual potential and serve as an example for future generations.
