    Goobas Ltd. was fined for not having a contract with the driver

    In response to a complaint from passengers, inspectors of the Chui Territorial Office of the Department of Land and Water Transport under the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic conducted an inspection of the documents of buses of the company Gobas Ltd. The inspection showed that all documents, including a mechanic's report on the technical condition of the bus, the driver's medical certificate from a narcologist, and the insurance policy, were in order. However, one of the drivers did not have a contract with the carrier, which resulted in a fine of KGS 1,000 under the Kyrgyz Republic Code of Offenses.

    In 2024, 285,779 vehicles were checked at the posts of the Chui-Bishkek Territorial Department, which is 3.7% more than in 2023. During this period, 2,647 administrative protocols were drawn up, which is 16.1% more than a year earlier. The total amount of fines imposed amounted to 24,168,500 KGS, which is 51.1% more than in 2023.

    In addition, 11,647,500 KGS of fines were collected, which is 37.8% more than last year. As part of the work of the Transport Control Department, 6 raids with the participation of the media, 6 round tables with shippers and 8 joint raids with the road patrol service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic were conducted.
