08/06/2025, 15:46The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan detained the head of the Emergency Medical Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Major S.Ch.M. According to the investigation, he organized a scheme to “help” people get jobs in certain departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in exchange for money.
He received 80,000 KGS from a citizen for his assistance in getting him hired, but did not fulfill his promise. He then returned the money via mobile banking.
The officer was detained on August 5 and placed in a temporary detention center of the State Committee for National Security. Currently, investigators are determining whether he had accomplices.
The State Committee for National Security reminds that anti-corruption legislation has been tightened in the country and the fight against such violations will continue.
