07/21/2025, 11:08The Center for Disease Prevention and State Sanitary Inspection conducted an unscheduled inspection of public catering establishments in the village of Bosteri, Issyk-Kul district, following reports on social media about violations of sanitary standards. The inspection covered 16 temporary cafes and snack bars, resulting in 14 administrative reports being drawn up.
The total amount of fines imposed was 120,500 KGS. Violators were also issued orders to remedy the identified deficiencies. Several establishments temporarily suspended operations, including a bakery and two popular cafes, Karavan and Zhazhda Vkusa. Sanitation days were announced for disinfection and sanitation.
In addition to fines and orders, health inspectors held informational talks with the staff of the establishments. Employees were reminded of the basic requirements for personal hygiene, food storage, and food preparation techniques. The authorities emphasize that food quality control at resorts will be tightened throughout the season.
