Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev Meets Masdar CEO Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev met with Muhammad Jamil Al Ramahi, Executive Director of Masdar Company, on the margins of the World Government Summit in Dubai, UAE.

During the meeting they discussed issues of co-operation in the field of renewable energy, including the development of joint projects in solar and wind energy in Kyrgyzstan. Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasised the strategic importance of green energy development for the country and expressed interest in attracting best practices and investments. The Executive Director of Masdar, in turn, expressed his desire to continue co-operation and highlighted the high potential of Kyrgyzstan in the use of renewable energy sources.

The parties agreed on further co-operation and continued negotiations on projects, and announced that a working group of the company will soon arrive in Kyrgyzstan for further work.
