Air China launches scheduled flights between Beijing and Bishkek

China’s national carrier, Air China, is launching a scheduled service on the Beijing–Bishkek–Beijing route. Flights will operate three times a week.

Kyrgyzstan Airports OJSC has announced the expansion of its international route network. China’s national airline, Air China, is commencing scheduled flights on the Beijing–Bishkek–Beijing route.

Flights will operate on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays using Airbus A321 aircraft.

The company noted that Air China’s entry into the Kyrgyz market will be a significant milestone for the country’s civil aviation sector. The new route is expected to strengthen air links between Kyrgyzstan and China, as well as create further opportunities for the development of tourism, business and commercial ties.

According to OJSC ‘Airports of Kyrgyzstan’, the launch of Air China’s flights was the result of efforts to attract new international airlines and develop air links with overseas destinations.
