07/18/2026, 11:33Prices of standard gold bars from the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan fluctuated during the week of 13–17 July. By the end of the week, the buy-back price had fallen significantly, whilst the selling price had dropped to a new low.
At the start of the week, on 13 July, the buy-back price for an ounce of a standard gold bar stood at 360,604 som. The very next day, it fell to 355,414.5 som, then rose to 358,540 som on 15 July, before falling again to 357,377.5 som on 16 July and 351,374.5 som by the end of the week.
The selling price had remained unchanged at 383,013 som since 24 June. However, on 16 July, the National Bank revised it down to 366,297 som, and it remained at this level until the end of the week.
Over the week, the buy-back price fell by 9,229.5 som (2.6 per cent), whilst the selling price decreased by 16,716 som (4.4 per cent).
