10/16/2026, 10:48Aizada Subakozhoeva has been appointed Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to China. She succeeds Aktilek Musaeva, who had headed the Kyrgyz diplomatic mission in Beijing since September 2022. President Sadyr Japarov signed the relevant decrees.
In connection with her transition to the diplomatic service, Subakozhoeva has been relieved of her duties as deputy head of the National Agency for Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technologies under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. Both personnel decisions were formalized in separate presidential decrees.
Subakozhoeva had held the position of deputy head of the agency since June 2026. Thus, she worked for about four months at the agency that regulates the virtual assets market.
At the same time, by a separate decree of the head of state, Aktilek Musaeva was relieved of her duties as Kyrgyzstan’s ambassador to the People’s Republic of China. The reasons for her resignation were not specified in the official statement.
However, the diplomatic service is not new to her. Subakozhoeva has more than 20 years of experience in international relations. She graduated from Peking University, worked at the Kyrgyz Embassy in China, and held leadership positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Presidential Administration.
From 2018 to 2021, Subakozhoeva served as Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and headed the organization’s Department of Information and Analysis.
Thus, this new appointment marks a return for Aizada Subakozhoeva to diplomatic work and to the Chinese track, where her professional career began.
