Mbank shares have risen by 58% since the beginning of the year, with market capitalisation exceeding 40 billion KGS

On 12 August, the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange saw a sharp rise in the price of OJSC Mbank ordinary shares, which rose by 57.89% from 9.5 KGS at the beginning of the year to 15 KGS at the close of trading.

The first transaction with the bank's securities on the KSE this year was recorded on 12 March, when the share price was 9.5 KGS.

According to the exchange, during trading on 12 August, investors purchased 327,091 shares for a total of 4.906 million KGS.

All transactions were concluded at a price of 15 KGS per share.

With a total volume of over 2.7 billion ordinary shares in circulation, Mbank's market capitalisation reached 40.6 billion KGS. Thus, in just one day, from 11 to 12 August, the bank's market capitalisation increased by more than 8 billion KGS.
