The shareholders of ‘Elet-Capital’ must decide on the allocation of funds for the launch of the ‘Islamic window’

The microfinance company ‘Elet-Capital’ has included on the agenda of its extraordinary general meeting of shareholders a proposal to allocate 100 million KGS to the ‘Islamic window’ project. This was reported by the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange.

The meeting is scheduled for today, 28 September.

The funding is intended to support the consideration of establishing an ‘Islamic window’ within the company. The agenda also includes the election of a Sharia Council and a head of this division, as well as an application to the National Bank for an additional licence.

In addition, shareholders are due to approve the revised articles of association and the re-registration of the company.
