Kyrgyzstan discussed the implementation of ‘smart cities’ with Azerbaijani companies

Kyrgyzstan is exploring the possibility of implementing ‘smart city’ technologies and cybersecurity in collaboration with the Azerbaijani companies Elon Smart Technology and MegaSec MMC. Damirbek Bikulov, Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency, discussed prospects for cooperation during a visit to Baku.

Elon Smart Technology presented solutions for intelligent video surveillance, traffic management, automated car parks and air quality monitoring. The parties discussed the possibility of implementing these solutions in Kyrgyzstan.

At the meeting with MegaSec MMC, the main focus was on the protection of information systems and digital infrastructure, including within the public sector.

Following the talks, the parties expressed an interest in further cooperation and the development of joint investment and technology projects.
